There are at least two artists called Akino: 1) AKINO (Akino Kawamitsu) is a Japanese-American singer born on December 31, 1989. She began her musical career singing with her brothers and sister in the hip-hop group bless4, but later branched off as a solo artist. She continues to perform with bless4 as well as by herself. She is best known for singing several songs for the anime Sousei no Aquarion, composed by Yoko Kanno. They have released the album "Opusquake" and the EP "Start Weaving". Akino has also contributed vocal work to Konami's music games "beatmania IIDX" and "Pop'n Music".
