DAIGO (born ?? ?? Nait? Diago) is a Japanese singer, songwriter and an actor. He was born in Tokyo on April 8th in 1978. As an actor he is best know for his role as Yukichi Oishi in the Japanese drama Love Shuffle, but as a musician he is know as DAIGO?STARDUST and as the lead singer in the band BREAKERZ. DAIGO debut in 2003 with the singles MARIA under the stage name DAIGO?STARDUST. In 2008 BREAKERZ debut with the single SUMMER PARTY which he composed. In 2013 BREAKERZ decided to take a break and each member was going to concentrate on his solo career. That same year DAIGO released a solo single, the double A side single ???????? / ???REBIRTH [???], and he decided to say good-bye to his old stage name, DAIGO?STARDUST, and start working under his new stage name which was simple DAIGO. DAIGO has listed the english musician David Bowie as his biggest influences along with his compatriots in the bands BO?WY, B'z and the solo musician Himuro Kyousuke. Trivia: His blood type is AB. He is good friends with hyde, the lead singer from L'Arc~en~Ciel and they used to sing karaoke together.
