Yuumao is a pseudonym she assumed in late 2002, used primarily when writing and composing songs for anime and games, such as Galaxy Angel and D.C. ~Da Capo~, and seiy?, such as Mai Nakahara and Ryoko Shintani. The name originated from "???" (yuumaou), which in turn was formed from "?????" (yasashii maou, lit. kind devil); the last "u" was dropped due to excessiveness.
